Simmer the apple cider on medium heat until it reduces to 1/3 cup, this will take approx 15 minutes.

While the apple cider in simmering, make the vegan buttermilk by combing apple cider vinegar and plant based milk + make the flax egg by combing ground flax and water

Add in the baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and flour into the mixture and mix until a soft dough forms. Be careful not to overmix or the donuts can become dense.

Add the dough into the donut pans then bake for 10-12 minutes

Let the donuts cool then toss them in cinnamon and sugar
