Notes

You may use premade sangria or make it yourself. See my notes above for my sangria recipes. You may use white or red sangria.
Pomegranate – I used pomegranate seeds on this board because I love muddling them and adding them to my juice! You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season.
Cranberries – Again, another delicious tart fruit that I enjoy muddling them and adding the contract to my sangria. You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season. Do not use canned cranberry sauce.
Apples – I used both granny smith, as well as fuji apples. I enjoy the sweetness of the red fuji, and the (again) tartness of the granny smith. You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season. You may also sub with pears.
Blackberries – I love putting this seedy fruit into my sangria because I think it soaks up so well with the liquor. You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season.
Oranges / Blood Oranges – Oranges are such a juicy, fresh, sweet way to add some fun to your cup. I love the tastes of oranges (I even put Grand Marnier in my sangria sometimes!). You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season.
Grapefruit – I absolutely LOVE grapefruit juice, so it was a no brainer to me to put this in my sangria. You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season.
Lemons & Limes – For some reason, I always love adding limes and lemons to my sangria! I thought this was normal, but then I noticed many places do not do this. To me, it adds the perfect little “zing” to my cup. You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season.
Strawberries – I had a lot of tart going on on this board, so I needed to add some strawberries! Blueberries would also be a great addition, as well as other sweet fruits such as watermelon, cantaloupe and honey dew.
Gooseberries – My first experience with gooseberries, and I absolutely love them! It reminded me like a Kiwi almost, so I thought it would be a great addition. You may omit if you are allergic, or if they are not in season.
Herbs – I used Rosemary and Sage on this board. I made this board in the winter to bring me sunshine, so I always love rosemary! Sage is just too good with citrus, so I added that too. If this was summer. I would have added mint. Thyme and Basil would also be fun additions.
