This easy, 5-minute quick hot chocolate uses smooth and creamy oat milk mixed with decadent vegan chocolate cocoa powder, sweet vanilla extract, sea salt, and sweetener. This cozy drink requires little effort with maximum reward.
In a medium saucepan, gently heat your oat milk over medium-low heat. * see notes for microwave instructions
Once it begins to simmer, remove it from heat and add in the optional sweetener, vanilla extract + sea salt. Whisk until combined.
Add in the cocoa powder, then whisk again until smooth.

Then add in all the ingredients.Heating the oat milk gently on the stove or microwave is key because it can burn easily.Storage: You may store your oat milk hot cocoa in an air tight container in the fridge for 2 days. If you notice it separates at all, gently whisk it before heating.Reheating: Reheat by placing on the stovetop and gently warming on low to medium heat for 2-4 minutes or in the microwave, heating for 25 seconds at a time.
