Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • ½ cup espresso freeze in ice cube tray
  • 4 oz vodka vanilla or caramel
  • 4 oz coffee liqueur
  • 2 oz baileys almande or coffee creamer

Instructions

  • Brew the espresso then add it into ice cube trays and freeze.
  • Once frozen, add all ingredients to a blender and blend for at least 45 seconds.
  • Pour into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with espresso or coffee beans.

Notes

Pay attention to blending time. The more you blend the cocktail, the smoother it will be. If you prefer a chunkier cocktail, blend it for less time.
Use flavored vodka. Flavored vodka can truly transform the flavor of this frozen espresso martini. Use vanilla or caramel vodka for a fun twist!
Storage. As with most frozen drinks, this is best consumed right away. Letting it sit out will cause the ice to melt, and will result in the cocktail becoming watery. If you do need to store it, pour it into ice cubes then freeze it. Once ready to use, re-blend and pour into a glass.
