    Are you seeking an easy salad dressing made with simple ingredients? This healthy sweet pomegranate tahini dressing goes perfectly on just about anything! Made with a few simple ingredients like tahini, pomegranates and garlic, it is vegan and naturally gluten free.

    Finding a good salad dressing, that is also healthy, is pretty tough! If you ever peruse the back of your dressing you will notice there are a lot - I mean a lot - of ingredients! Yes, some is essential to keep it fresh, but why waste money on a salad dressing filled with additives when you can make it yourself?

    This easy to make dressing is made with less than 6 simple ingredients. It is only made with tahini, pomegranate, garlic, salt, pepper and water - it has minimal ingredients and can be made in less than 5 minutes.

    This fresh pomegranate tahini dressing is perfect for topping a salad, dipping veggies in or even drizzling on tacos! Slightly tangy, yet pleasantly sweet, this smooth sauce goes well with so many things!

    What started with this dressing solely being used on salads slowly transformed into my placing it on tacos, dipping veggies in it and also dipping pita chips in it! It has made my meals so much tastier!

    Ingredients for this Sweet Pomegranate Tahini Dressing

    To make this Fresh Pomegranate Tahini Dressing, you will need the following: Tahini; pomegranate seeds; water; garlic; salt and pepper.

    You will also need something to muddle/juice the pomegranates with. You may use the back of wooden spoon or spatula.

    You may omit garlic if you do not enjoy it or are allergic, but it does add a nice savory flavor.

    Furthermore, you may use pomegranate juice in place of the pomegranate juice in place of the fresh pomegranate.

    Tips in making this Fruit Based Tahini Dressing

    This dressing is so easy to make! First, using a muddler or a wooden spoon, place your pomegranates into glass or mason jar. Muddle until the seeds are well juiced. Strain the juice into the a bowl.

    Next, place the all ingredients into the bowl with the pomegranate juice and whisk vigorously. You may add in a few of the seeds to add texture!

    There are endless possibilities with what you can put this tahini dressing on. Some of the ways I have done so far is: Tacos. It is also delicious as a dressing on salads, as a dip for veggies, or to top falafel with!

    Storing- Store this tahini salad dressing in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

    Consistency of Dressing - If you enjoy a thinner dressing, add more water. If you enjoy a thicker one, use less water.

    Ingredients
      

    • ⅓ cup tahini
    • ¾ cup pomegranate seeds or approx ¼ and 1 tbsp of pom juice
    • 1 garlic clove minced
    • 2-3 tbsp water see note
    • Salt and Pepper for taste

    Instructions
     

    • Place your pomegranate seeds into a glass or mason jar and muddle until the seeds are juiced.
    • Strain the juice into a small bowl.
    • Add in additional ingredients and whisk vigorously. Option to add in a few seeds for texture.
    • Store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to one week.
