    This healthy orange ginger tahini dressing goes perfectly on just about anything! It is sweet, yet savory, and oh so creamy! Made with a few simple ingredients like tahini, orange, ginger and garlic, it is vegan and naturally gluten free.

    Orange Ginger Tahini Dressing

    Oh how I love the ginger dressing that is served with my salad when I get my veggie sushi. It is seriously so delish! The only thing I would change is how thin and runny it is. I also would love it be a bit creamier.

    While I know I could make that ginger dressing (and perhaps I will in the future), I wanted to make a dressing with the same taste, yet a different texture.

    Therefore, I paired it with orange and tahini and made a drool worthy tahini salad dressing that will make anyone happy.

    This easy to make dressing is made with minimal ingredients - less than 7 simple ingredients in fact. It is only made with tahini, juice from an orange, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper and water. Also, the best part is it can be made in less than 5 minutes.

    Slightly tangy, yet pleasantly refreshing and sweet, with a little kick form the garlic, this is smooth sauce goes well with so many things! A savory orange ginger tahini dressing that is perfect for topping a salad, dipping veggies in or even drizzling on tacos!

    What started with this dressing solely being used on salads slowly transformed into my placing it on tacos, dipping veggies in it and also dipping pita chips in it! It has made my meals so much tastier! If you like tahini based dressing, check out my pomegranate tahini dressing here.

    Ingredients for this Healthy Orange Tahini Dressing

    To make this easy Tahini Dressing, you will need the following: Tahini; an orange; fresh ginger; water; garlic; salt and pepper.

    Ingredients

    You may omit garlic if you do not enjoy it or are allergic, but it does add a nice savory flavor.

    While I do not recommend it, you may use fresh orange juice (not from concentrate) instead of juicing your orange yourself.

    Fresh ginger is also required for this recipe, as powdered ginger will not do well.

    Tips in making this Fruit Based Tahini Dressing

    This dressing is so easy to make! First, you will juice your orange into a medium size bowl. Strain to remove any pulps or seeds.

    Next, place the all ingredients into the bowl with the orange juice and whisk vigorously.

    What Can You Put This Orange Ginger Tahini Dressing On?

    There are endless possibilities with what you can put this tahini dressing on. Some of the ways I have done so far is: Tacos, especially my butternut squash tacos; dressing on salads; dip for veggies; and on top of falafel.

    Storing- Store this tahini salad dressing in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

    Consistency of Dressing - If you enjoy a thinner dressing, add more water. If you enjoy a thicker one, use less water.

    Ingredients
      

    • ⅓ cup freshly squeezed orange juice plus 1 tbsp
    • ⅓ cup tahini plus 1 tbsp
    • 1 garlic minced
    • 2-3 tbsp water see note
    • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
    • Salt and Pepper for taste
    • ½ tbsp Orange Zest optional

    Instructions
     

    • First, juice your orange into a bowl. Strain the juice to ensure no seeds or pulp is in it.
    • Place all ingredients, other than the zest, into bowl with juice and whisk vigorously.
    • Option to add in zest and mix more.
    • Store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
